How can I be an all around good girl?

So up until now I haven't exactly lived my life in the manner in which I would now like. I am not saying that I have been sleeping around or anything like that simply because I am way too young for that and I am simply not doing it. I am just saying that I want to be a more "good Christan girl" kind of person. But I am not exactly sure how to do that... So I thought someone else might know. I am a bit of a gossip, I do sometimes curse but I am still a virgin (I am only 13) and I plan to be until marriage. If you have ever seen "THe secret life of the American Teenager" then you see I want to be like Grace Bowman.
