Would my american bulldog/ boxer mix defend me if someone was trying to harm me?

I had her for two months. I'm just curios how you think she would react. I'm totally against dog fighting and abuse to animals I just want to know she has my back. She was took away from a gang house and I'm caring for her now and I would want to know if they tried to jump me or something if she would scare them off. Thanks btw she is in a loving caring Christan family house
