ANYONE that knows about cars!! help me?

Okay I hit a car months ago with the front of my car, the day AFTER I hit it the radio and c.d. Player quit playing music there was no sound at all.. But the time and radio station still showed up on the stereo....I got a new stereo to see if it would be fixed..but once it was installed there was still no sound so now I'm wondering it its the speakers if something went out if something came loose from the car accident...please help does anyone have any ideas what it could be. I'm a women and know nothing about these things.
