Boyfriend got caught sneaking in. HELPPPP!?

okay, well here it goes. so i'm fourteen and i've been sneaking my boyfriend over for the past four months. we've never been caught, but one time my parents found the ladder he used and they let me off with a warning. i swore to myself and him that we would never do that again but then last night, my boyfriend found out one of his family members is severely ill and he wanted to talk. he was crying and i felt terrible. so i told him to come over. he didn't think it was a good idea but i listened to my heart instead of my head and told him to come anyway. well, after a few hours apparently my mom became suspicious, i told him to hide under my bed and she came in and looked in my closet and stuff. when she left he said he wanted to go home but i told him to stay so he did. then she came in again and looked under the bed. she saw him and flipped out and hurt him and slapped me. we were both completely clothed and everything. she told me i'm grounded all summer and i'm no longer allowed to see him. but my dad is COMPLETELY different. my dad realizes that i deserve to be grounded but he doesn't think i shouldn't be allowed to see him ever again. he said i'm a kid. and we make mistakes. i know what i did was wrong and i know for a fact i would never pull a stunt like this again. i just want to be able to see him, i don't even want any other privileges back except to be able to see him supervised by my mom and to be able to talk to him. do you think i'm right? i know i did wrong, but i don't think her punishment was completely fair. i've been so good and so has he. he has been nothing but polite to her and she degrades him because he's columbian. my dad just talked to him for the first time today because of what happened and he actually likes him. my mom has always hated him for NO reason. HELP??
