Why do people dislike atheists?

I would say it's not really the fact that people dislike atheists, but coming from myself (christian) it's just frustrating. One of my best friends is atheist, and we just dont talk about it. I know how she feels about the subject, she knows how i feel about the subject, and we agree to disagree. I would also say a lot of the problem with the kids at your school teasing you about it is a lack of maturity. It's a personal decision, and to be quite frank, its none of their business what you believe in. So tell 'em to go to their hell....lol
